Knightsbridge · Project enquiries
A considered start
for your home.
Tell us about the rooms, timber or exterior surfaces you want to renew. Include the property address and what matters most to you about the work. Photographs can be shared by email or WhatsApp.
The work you have in mind
Start with the condition of the property and the finish you would like to achieve.
Describe the home, then the surfaces.
For a Trevor Square or Montpelier Square house, tell us which floors are involved and whether the stair links the spaces to be decorated. In a Knightsbridge Green apartment, identify the private rooms separately from the entrance door or any shared areas. List walls, ceilings, cornices, window reveals and joinery individually, including shutters or fitted cupboards where present. Mark the finishes you want to keep, so the enquiry makes clear where new decoration should stop.
Show the condition as well as the colour.
Send a whole-room view and close photographs of peeling paint, open joints, old wallpaper or water marks. Explain any known cause and whether repairs have been arranged; a photograph alone cannot settle the preparation required. For an exterior around Ennismore Gardens or Rutland Gate, identify each material rather than describing the whole pale frontage as paintwork. Include windows, doors and railings separately, and flag any surface whose existing coating or underlying material is uncertain.
Explain the route to the work.
Along Brompton Road and Beauchamp Place, a photograph of the residential entrance helps distinguish it from neighbouring shop entrances. Give the floor, any lift arrangements and the route for carrying materials, including narrow stair turns or a shared vestibule. Mention building instructions, restricted working periods and who can agree protection of communal finishes. Describe any proposed unloading position for checking, rather than assuming the space outside is available. The form has no attachment field; send photographs through the email or WhatsApp links above.
Keep the quotation questions together.
Tell us whether the home will remain occupied, which rooms must stay usable and whether other trades are expected. Include selected paint or wallcovering references, or explain which colour and finish choices remain open. Identify any condition that needs a closer look during a property visit. When reviewing a proposal, check preparation, included surfaces, material supply, access and exclusions against your room list. An enquiry starts that discussion; the scope, price, programme and terms need their own agreement before work is arranged.
